Nigeria football legend Jay Jay Okocha shares skills with PSG academy players in Maldives

Nigerian football legend, Augustine Jay-Jay Okocha recently visited the Maldives for a coaching clinic with players from the PSG Academy, Newspremises reports.

Okocha, along with another Paris Saint-Germain icon, Didier Domi, participated in various activities, including witnessing the club’s partnership with Ooredoo.

The former PSG stars dedicated time to training with the Academy players, with Okocha imparting his renowned skills to the young athletes.

Photos shared on social media show Okocha playing football with the PSG Academy participants, who ranged in age from eight to fifteen.

A total of 120 young football enthusiasts attended this exclusive coaching clinic, which provided them the opportunity to advance their skills while learning PSG’s training methods from Academy coaches Cyril Klosek and Eduardo Santos, according to Sun Maldives.

Okocha also took part in a fun run and immersed himself in the local culture of the Maldives.

The former Super Eagles captain is highly respected in France for his achievements during his time with PSG in Ligue 1. Okocha’s flair and skill on the pitch endeared him to PSG supporters
