Euro 2024: Paul Pogba celebrates France’s win over Portugal with Tanzania artist Diamond Platnumz

Paul Pogba was ecstatic following France’s victory over Portugal in the quarter-final of the 2024 European Championship on Friday, July 5.

The 31-year-old midfielder celebrated as Les Bleus avenged their defeat in the 2016 Euros final, advancing to the semi-finals l a 5-3 win after a dramatic penalty shootout.

Having recently attended France’s Round of 16 match against Belgium, as reported by The Athletic, Pogba watched this game in a comfortable setting.

A video seen by News Premises shows the former Manchester United star in a VIP lounge, wearing France’s away kit for the tournament, intently watching the match.

Pogba’s excitement grew throughout the game, culminating in an outburst of joy when Theo Hernandez scored the decisive penalty, securing victory for Didier Deschamps’ side.

Pogba was joined by Tanzanian artist and dancer Diamond Platnumz in his celebrations. Platnumz, born Naseeb Abdul Juma Issack, supported France alongside Pogba, dressed in blue attire and a matching cap.

It is yet to be confirmed whether they will attend France’s semi-final against Spain at the Allianz Arena in Munich, a highly anticipated match between two pre-tournament favorites.

Regardless of their location, Pogba and Platnumz will continue to support France’s bid to win their first European Championship since 2000.
