Agreement ‘reached on everything’ between United and league-winners for £90k-a-week player’s exit

Manchester United are on the verge of finalizing their first summer sale, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka set to transfer to Galatasaray, Newspremises reports.

According to Turkish source Fanatik, an agreement has been reached between all parties involved, with only the transfer fee remaining to be finalized.

In an effort to boost their summer transfer budget, United have set Wan-Bissaka’s price at €15 million (£12.6m).

However, the Turkish champions are reluctant to meet this valuation and are aiming to negotiate a fee in the range of €7-10 million (£5.9-£8.4m), in line with Wan-Bissaka’s own request for a lower price tag.

If a deal is finalized within this lower range, many fans might feel that United are being shortchanged. Wan-Bissaka, at 26 years old, is a regular starter and one of the top one-on-one defenders in Europe. Retaining him for squad depth might seem preferable if the return is only around £6 million.

Earning a reported £90,000 per week, Wan-Bissaka may be influencing the board to approve his transfer. In this scenario, he would need to push Galatasaray to meet a more reasonable fee
